Prices and conditions
How the cost of a job is worked out and what conditions apply, explained clearly with no surprises.
How pricing works
The cost of each job generally comprises the call-out, the labour and the materials required. Fixed rates are not published yet, because each issue has a different scope: checking a small leak is not the same as replacing an entire installation.
Wherever possible, the work is assessed before it begins and the expected scope is explained, so you know what to expect before any chargeable work is carried out.
What can affect the price
- The type of work and its complexity.
- Whether it is an emergency during or outside normal hours.
- The materials needed to resolve the issue.
- Access to the site and the specific conditions of the property or premises.
Out-of-hours differences
There can be differences in cost between work carried out during normal hours and an emergency outside those hours. Where they apply, these differences are communicated before any work starts, since specific amounts are not fixed in advance here.
Conditions confirmed in writing
The specific conditions of each job — scope, timing, materials and payment method — are agreed case by case and confirmed in writing before or once the work is finished, as appropriate. This applies to private customers as well as businesses and residential communities.
Frequently asked questions
Can I know the exact price before the technician arrives?
An initial guide can be given based on the information provided, but the exact price is confirmed after assessing the issue in person.
Does a check-up cost the same as a full repair?
Not necessarily; the cost depends on the actual scope of the work, assessed in each case.
Is there a charge just for the call-out?
The call-out may form part of the total cost; this is explained before work starts.
Can I cancel if I'm not happy with the estimate?
Yes, the prior assessment lets you decide whether to go ahead before the work begins.
Are the conditions the same for private customers and businesses?
The approach is the same, although the specific terms are adapted to the type of customer and volume of work.
